About the Speaker

Ms. Akoth Aluoch is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, an Arbitrator, and a Mediator, currently practicing in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department at Mwaniki Gachoka & Co. Advocates (MG LAW Advocates), based in Nairobi, Kenya.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from The University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. With a primary practice background in Civil and Commercial Litigation, Ms. Akoth has been able to navigate into Alternative Dispute Resolution and has sat as both Arbitrator and Party Representative in arbitration and mediation proceedings.

She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Kenya Branch, where she also sits as a Tutor, and has employed her litigation experience in successfully handling negotiations and conflict management and resolution for numerous clients. Ms. Aluoch is also a member of the Legal Awareness and Training Committee at MG Law Advocates.
